Gotland
Brobäck from Lilla Hästnäs, Visby
The first known Brobäck on Gotland is Hans Båtelsson Brobäck. His grandfather was Olof Båtelsson at Lilla Hästnäs outside Visby. Olof died there in 1665.
The male line died out during the earlier half of the 19th century.
Brobäck from Bro
Anders Brobäck was the son of Anders Andersson Brobäck, born in Bro parish in 1775 as the son of the schoolmaster Anders Jacobsson and his wife Catharina Andersdotter.[1]
